Hermes Desktop
A tool to run and manage autonomous AI agents.
Hermes Desktop is the native desktop front end for Nous Research’s open-source Hermes Agent, bringing the agent’s autonomous AI capabilities to macOS, Windows, and Linux in a polished chat UI; it shares the same persistent memory, sessions, API keys and skills as the CLI and web gateway so work and context sync across interfaces. The app lets the agent invoke multimodal AI tools—web search, browser automation, vision, image generation, text‑to‑speech, and multi‑model reasoning—schedule recurring automation, spawn isolated subagents for delegated tasks, and run on various backends (local, Docker, SSH, Singularity, Modal) for hardened, sandboxed execution. Choose Hermes Desktop if you want a self‑hostable, cross‑platform AI agent that learns and remembers projects, runs unattended automations, and provides a more user‑friendly way to monitor streaming tool output and manage complex AI workflows.
